Jelle Heida, together with André Kleistra, operates a dairy farm in Hoornsterzwaag, Friesland. They have invested in mono-manure digestion and a nitrogen stripper, farming in a manner that suits their operations: efficiently and environmentally friendly. Since 2022, they have also been using the feed additive Bovaer, a methane-reducing feed additive for cows. Lattiz® is produced in a factory that uses 100% green electricity, of which 63% is supplied by our own dairy farmers.
Activities are focused on reusing pack material & increasing sustainable sourcing of it. The ambition is to have all packaging recyclable/reusable in 2025.
